Nick’s expertise in feasibility, planning schemes and building regulations, set the foundation for his leadership. As each project presents various challenges and opportunities, he is committed to enhancing quality of life through unique and contextual design solutions.

Joining Embrace in 2022, An leads the interior design sector within our practice. With extensive experience across multiple commercial sectors, including workplace, hospitality, multi-residential and bespoke residential, she brings a considered and innovative outlook to all aspects of design.

As a strategic and conceptual thinker, An is motivated by an authentic and purposeful approach that considers each decision’s relational and environmental impacts.

Yuan Wang
Associate

Yuan brings a wealth of knowledge from her decade of experience within Architecture design. Having worked within multi-residential, mixed-use development, public and educational sectors, Yuan specialises in design development and contract administration stages.

Ensuring quality management throughout the entire project life cycle, her rigorous approach to both construction and detailing ensures design concepts are fulfilled and delivered on site.

Max Waters
Project Leader

Max is an agile and astute project leader with extensive knowledge within all stages of design. Max has played a key role on several projects including The Gratis, in Deepdene, Melbourne, and Henley Rise apartment project in Como, Perth.

To Max architecture is experiential; it is the delicate balance of risk, restraint and context that should be reflected in the building’s fabric.

Irene Yang
Architectural Designer

Irene enjoys unpacking the client brief and understanding the true function of a space to create designs that exceed the client’s expectations.

She approaches design by finding the right balance between functionality and aesthetic. Irene is skilled in project documentation and takes pride in seeing the designs come to life.

Catherine Hucker
Interior Designer

As a highly detail-oriented designer, Catherine enjoys the ability to work within varying scales of design to realise not only the built environment but the way it engages with its surroundings.

Catherine is intrigued by networks and points of connection created within each project. She is particularly interested in how different communication streams vary through all stages of design.
